Commercial concrete on the Treasure Coast — foundations to flatwork, self-performed.
When you need concrete that holds up under heavy commercial and industrial loads, you need a contractor who pours it themselves. Timothy Rose Contracting has self-performed concrete work across Florida's Treasure Coast since 1984 — more than 40 years of foundations, footings, slabs, curbs, and structural flatwork for projects in Indian River, Brevard, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties. No subbing it out, no finger-pointing between trades: our own crews, equipment, and field supervision from layout to final finish. That means one accountable team for the whole concrete scope, built to FDOT standards and backed by $100M in bonding capacity. Whether you're putting in a building pad, a loading dock, equipment foundations, paving, or hardscape flatwork, you get a licensed general contractor (CGC #052940, RU #0066532) with a municipal track record in Vero Beach, Fellsmere, Palm Bay, Viera, and Melbourne. We pour to spec, we hit grade, and we finish on schedule.
How We Self-Perform Every Pour
Concrete fails at the seams between trades — when the layout crew, the formwork crew, the rebar crew, and the finishers all answer to different bosses. We eliminate that. Timothy Rose Contracting self-performs the entire concrete scope in-house: subgrade prep and compaction, forming, reinforcing steel placement, embeds and anchor bolts, the pour itself, and finishing. Our field supervisors run the same crews on FDOT and municipal jobs, so they know how to control grade, manage placement in Florida heat, and finish to the spec a project actually requires — whether that's a broom finish on a sidewalk or a hard-troweled, flat-and-level industrial slab. One contractor owns the result from layout stake to final cure.
Where Our Concrete Goes In
We pour commercial and industrial concrete across the full range of heavy-civil and site work: building foundations, spread and continuous footings, structural and slab-on-grade flatwork, building pads, loading docks and dock aprons, equipment and machine foundations, retaining and site walls, curb and gutter, sidewalks and ADA ramps, paving, and dumpster and utility pads. Because we also self-perform earthwork, paving, and site development, our concrete ties cleanly into the rest of the job — grades match, drainage works, and the slab sits on subgrade we prepared ourselves. That's the advantage of a single self-performing contractor on a Treasure Coast site rather than a stack of subs.
Why Contractors and Owners Choose Timothy Rose
Forty-plus years on the Treasure Coast and an FDOT certification mean our concrete meets the same standard the state holds its road and bridge work to. We carry $100M in bonding capacity, so we qualify for and stand behind large public and private contracts. We're a licensed general contractor (CGC #052940, RU #0066532) with a proven municipal track record across Vero Beach, Fellsmere, Palm Bay, Viera, and Melbourne — the kind of public-sector work that doesn't get awarded to crews that cut corners. For GCs and owners, that combination — certified, bonded, self-performing, local since 1984 — is what de-risks the concrete scope.
What To Expect On Your Project
Expect a contractor who shows up with their own people and equipment and runs the concrete scope as a single, accountable package. We start with the plans and specs, confirm grades and embeds against the structural and civil drawings, and build a placement plan around your schedule and the rest of the site work. During the pour you get experienced field supervision controlling rate of placement, consolidation, and finish; after it, proper jointing, curing, and protection so the slab performs long-term. Throughout, you deal with one local team — bonded, licensed, and reachable — not a chain of subcontractors. Call Timothy Rose Contracting to walk your concrete scope and get it scheduled.
Frequently asked questions
Do you self-perform the concrete or sub it out?
We self-perform all of it in-house. Subgrade prep, forming, reinforcing steel, the pour, and finishing are all done by Timothy Rose Contracting crews under our own field supervision — no concrete subcontractors. That's one accountable contractor for the entire scope, which is how we control quality, grade, and schedule.
What size and type of concrete projects do you handle?
Commercial and industrial concrete — foundations through flatwork. That includes building foundations and footings, slab-on-grade and structural slabs, building pads, loading docks, equipment foundations, curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, paving, and site walls. With $100M in bonding capacity and FDOT certification, we're built for large public and private contracts as well as smaller site work.
