About Timothy Rose Contracting
FDR & Asphalt Paving · Heavy-Civil Since 1984
Timothy Rose Contracting has been moving dirt and building infrastructure on Florida's Treasure Coast since 1984. Over forty years, we've grown into a heavy-civil contractor that municipalities, engineers, and general contractors trust to deliver roadway, drainage, utility, and site development work on schedule and to spec. We hold a $100 million bonding capacity, FDOT certification, and the credentials to back it up, but what sets us apart isn't a number on a prequalification form. It's that when you award us a project, the crews, equipment, and supervision that show up are ours. We self-perform our work in-house. We don't subcontract out the scope, mark it up, and manage it from a trailer. Our people run the FDR trains, place the CSPB and LSPB, set the pipe, and finish the grade. That means tighter quality control, accountability that doesn't get lost between tiers, and a single point of responsibility from notice-to-proceed through final acceptance. Four decades of completed municipal contracts across Vero Beach, Fellsmere, Palm Bay, Viera, and Melbourne are the proof. If you've driven the Treasure Coast, you've driven on work we built.
Credentials & Licensing
We carry the licensing and bonding to take on serious public and private work. Certified General Contractor CGC #052940 and Utility/Excavation Contractor RU #0066532. FDOT-certified and prequalified for state and local roadway and infrastructure projects. $100 million bonding capacity backed by a clean performance history dating to 1984. We meet the insurance, bonding, and prequalification thresholds that municipal and DOT work demands, and we've held them through forty years of completed contracts. When a job requires a contractor who can carry the bond and stand behind the work, the paperwork is already in order.
Self-Performance: Our People, Our Equipment
Every scope we contract, we build in-house. Earthwork, full-depth reclamation (FDR), cement and lime stabilization, base, drainage, underground utilities, grading, and roadway construction are all run by Timothy Rose crews on Timothy Rose equipment. We place CSPB and LSPB to FDOT standards with our own paving operations. Self-performing means quality control lives with the people doing the work, not a stack of subcontractor submittals. It means schedules hold because we're not waiting on someone else's crew, and it means one contractor owns the result from clearing to punch list. That single point of accountability is why repeat clients keep us on speed dial.
Service Area & Who We Serve
We work across Florida's Treasure Coast and central east coast: Indian River, Brevard, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties. Our municipal track record includes completed work for Vero Beach, Fellsmere, Palm Bay, Viera, and Melbourne. We partner with city and county public works departments, civil engineering firms, general contractors, and developers on roadway construction, FDR and pavement rehabilitation, stormwater and drainage systems, underground utilities, and full site development. Whether it's a municipal road rebuild, a county drainage project, or a private commercial site, we bring four decades of local ground knowledge and the crews to execute it.
