About American Water, Sewer & Drain

Trenchless Pipeline Experts · CIPP · CCTV · Directional Drilling

American Water, Sewer & Drain is a Florida State Certified Underground Utility Contractor built around a simple idea: the pipe in the ground should be installed and rehabilitated by the people who answer for it. Out of Vero Beach and working the Treasure Coast and statewide, we handle water mains, sanitary and storm sewer, force mains, and drainage from the dig to the final restoration. We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and we self-perform the work that matters most rather than handing it to a chain of subs. That is why owners, engineers, and municipalities keep one number for the whole job instead of refereeing a yard full of trades. What sets us apart is range and accountability. We have delivered FDOT and municipal work under the same scrutiny you do not get a second chance at: Kanner Highway (FPID E4V49) at $1.42M, District 5 drainage in Lake County, and PGA Village Work Order WO9 at $1.345M. We run cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) from 2 inches to 110 inches, a Vactor jet/vac fleet for cleaning and inspection, and trenchless rigs that rehabilitate and replace line without tearing up a road, a parking lot, or a fairway. Plans get read, joints get tested, and the work gets documented to spec. When the inspection camera goes back through, the report tells the truth, and so do we.

Credentials & Licensing

We hold a Florida State Certified Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor license, CUC 1225741 — the same certification the state requires to put water, sewer, and storm infrastructure in the ground on public work. The company is bonded, licensed, and fully insured, so an owner or general contractor can issue an award without wondering whether the contractor can stand behind it. That certification is not a formality on our end. It governs how we trench, shore, test, and restore, and it is the reason our crews can move between a DOT right-of-way, a city utility department, and a private development without changing how carefully the work gets done.

Our Approach: We Self-Perform

We are a pipeline contractor, not a broker. The crews cleaning and inspecting your line, the operators running the CIPP liner, and the hands setting pipe in the trench work for us. Self-performing keeps the schedule honest, keeps the quality under our control, and keeps the cost transparent — there is no markup stacked on a sub who marked up another sub. It also means one point of accountability from survey to punch list. Our Vactor fleet handles jetting, vacuum excavation, and CCTV inspection; our trenchless rigs let us rehabilitate or replace a failing line in place, with CIPP from 2 inches to 110 inches, so we can solve the problem with the least disruption to the surface above it. One vendor, one crew, one job.

Service Area & Who We Serve

We are based in Vero Beach and run the full Treasure Coast — Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin counties — and we mobilize statewide for utility and DOT-grade work, the way we did on Kanner Highway, in Lake County under District 5, and at PGA Village. We serve municipalities and utility departments, FDOT and prime contractors, engineers, developers, HOAs, golf and resort properties, and commercial owners who need a line installed, replaced, cleaned, or rehabilitated and inspected. If it carries water, sewage, or stormwater and it lives underground, it is our work — bid it, build it, and stand behind it.
