How to Build Targeted Lists for FREE

Why do I share my most prized secrets? Because I want you to succeed. The DBPR website allows you to search and export businesses and gives you their address, phone number and EMAIL! Do it Now.

You can easily export a CSV file that can also be used in Excel for organizing however both Google and Facebook will import the default CSV file with field mapping / matching. This is a very simple process as described HERE. Searching by “License Type” and “City or County” is most effective.

This particular online service is only for the state of Florida however you can find similar for almost every state using Google Search. Don’t be afraid to try other similar searches with the state you are looking for etc.

These lists will not be used for sending email but for serving ads. It is illegal to send emails to lists like these as per CANSPAM. The CAN-SPAM Act, a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have you stop emailing them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.

There is no such a law that prohibits serving display ads. Business license information is a public record.

“The DBPR Online Services website provides information about applicants and licensed individuals for those professions and businesses that are regulated by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. If you would like to download general information (e.g. mailing addresses) about a particular group, please visit our free download site by clicking here.”

Last and not least, be sure you have conversion tracking in place so you can see which lists, ads, campaigns etc are generating the leads and/or sales. Always focus on landing page optimization..

A Huge Thanks to Kimball Stadler of Top Dog Performance for sharing this Hot Tip. At Vero Beach Marketing we can’t manage your social media pages and content, we focus on the paid advertising and tracking. Kimball however can take care of your page and social media content and coaching.
